HASHTAG: #NotAboveTheLaw

A protest advisory will be sent day of with additional details, including a timeline of events regarding the Russian Investigation. Though working diligently on this effort, organizers in Minnesota do not want to see this happen:

“We call on our Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, along with our Congressional Representatives Tim Walz, Jason Lewis, Erik Paulsen, Betty McCollum, Keith Ellison, Tom Emmer, Collin Peterson, & Rick Nolan to do everything in their power to prevent President Donald Trump from firing special counsel Robert Mueller,” said Amanda Madison, Chair of Women & Advocates MN and spokesperson of the Coalition for the Protection of Democracy MN. “The Senate has a duty to provide oversight to any and all presidential appointments to the Department of Justice. With the president publicly undermining the current Attorney General, the Senate must ensure that anyone who is appointed to a position of responsibility over this investigation will commit to allowing it to continue. Minnesota and all of America deserves thorough and complete answers around Russia’s involvement in last November’s election to ensure that the security and sanctity of our election system is never compromised again. That is only possible with a full and unhindered investigation.”
